Salon Policies

LIABILITY WAIVER

By accepting to receive any service at Neda Hair Studio, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. These Terms and Conditions are effective as at the date you book an appointment and/or receive any service at Neda Hair Studio and may be revised from time to time. The current Terms and Conditions are those available on this page.

REFUNDS & RETURNS POLICY

Quotes are provided as a guide and cannot be guaranteed without an in-salon consultation, where a written quote will be given and guaranteed. By accepting to receive the service, you agree to the consultation and the written quote you have received at Neda Hair Studio and if for any reason you persist to receive a service in a different way from what has been consulted by our stylists, no refunds will be provided if the new look/style you have chosen does not, in your opinion ‘suit you’.

Neda Hair Studio has the right to refuse to provide the service if the client does not accept to receive the service as per the consultation or requests to get the service that in the hair stylist’s opinion is not right and will not result as expected.

Where any chemicals used (colour, bleach, treatment, etc.), due to the nature of the hair and various parameters such as the hair condition, products that previously used, current hair colour, etc, while the skilled hair stylists at Neda Hair Studio do their best to achieve the anticipated look and hair condition as consulted, the result may vary from the expectation and no refund will be provided if the result does not match the desired look.

In case that the purchased products are faulty or not as described, the replacement or full refund can be provided. This refund policy does not apply to products which have been damaged or used by customers, or if any attempt has been made to alter the product if it has been broken. All products must be returned in their original condition.

COLLECTION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

Any personal details collected from customers is required to provide a high level of customer service, record the service references, and to assist in our salon progress. We may require:

  • Full Name

  • Contact details including telephone number, email address, and residential address

  • Date of birth

  • Demographic information such as postcode

  • Any other information requested on the Neda Hair Studio Website or otherwise requested by us in person or provided by you

All the personal information will be securely stored for future references and will not be shared with any other third-party company.

COMMUNICATIONS

Neda Hair Studio use recognisable information for essential communications, such as emails and contact information. We may also use this information for other purposes, such as promotional emails. If at any time a customer wishes not to receive such mail, they can choose to opt out or can appeal to be removed from any mailing lists by emailing us at Info@nedahairstudio.com.au

ARRIVALS/ BOOKING TIMES

We recommend arriving 15 minutes before your appointment is scheduled. This gives you and your stylist time to choose the right services for you. Late Arrivals will be scheduled in if more than 30mins late but will incur a wait, following on time appointments.

GIFT VOUCHERS

Gift vouchers issued by Neda Hair Studio are redeemable at Neda Hair Studio only. All transactions are processed in store only in AUD. Lost or stolen gift vouchers will not be replaced or refunded. The gift vouchers cannot be claimed for cash. No change will be given once the service is completed, however the balance may be applied to future services/purchases. Neda Hair Studio reserve the right to change these terms of use at any stage.

SOCIAL MEDIA

The team at Neda Hair Studio love hearing from you via Instagram, Facebook or the other social media platforms. Social media is a great place for us and clients to share their experiences, opinions and thoughts on our work in general, and an excellent way to communicate with us. Feel free to participate in any way to give us some feedback and any request to make Neda Hair Studio the best it can be. We will also use social media to provide our followers with updates and news about the salon and communicate with our clients on promotions and events. We may request to take photos before and after providing the service to the clients and may share these photos on our social media platforms. The client’s verbal consent will be considered as authorisation to take the photos and share them on the social media platforms such as Instagram and Facebook or to use for marketing or advertising purposes without further notice, however if for any reason the client is not happy to share or use their photos, the photos must be removed immediately. Any and all photos and posts are part of Neda Hair Studio’s property, and we hold all the rights to the images.

NEW CUSTOMERS

If you are booking your first appointment at Neda Hair Studio, you may be asked to pay a non-transferable non-refundable deposit of up to $100 to secure your appointment. The deposit amount may vary based on the services booked and will be deducted from your total bill at the end of your visit. Please also refer to the cancellation policy.

CANCELLATION POLICY

We understand unplanned events can occur resulting in the need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. If you are unable to keep your appointment, we respectfully request for your cancellation call at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled appointment. Anything less than a 48hr period of notice may incur a fee depending on the chosen service. No shows will be required to pay deposits for future appointments.

If any amount of deposit has been paid for the appointment, in case of cancellation with less than 48 hours notice or no show, the deposited amount will be forfeited.

HONESTY IS THE BEST POLICY

It is impossible for us to ask questions regarding every possible circumstance that could result in an unwanted outcome. If you are not forthcoming about what may be on your hair it is possible you could experience anything from hair breakage, chemical burns and undesired colour results. If in doubt, please mention it!

All our stylists strive to ensure our clients happiness and satisfaction. They have been added to the team based on their experience and higher education and knowledge.

It is your responsibility to inform us if you have:

Been exposed to or swam in chlorine

Used any type of natural hair colour, especially henna

Started new medication or diet

Anything else that could possibly affect your colour including shampoo and conditioners that contain sulphate and parabens

Hair colour and hair lighteners, along with other chemicals that we may use on your hair can react with any other type of chemical or metal agent that may be present in your hair.

CHILDREN AT THE SALON

We understand sometimes your children need to be with you. However, please be aware it is important that your child remains sitting near you at your station at all times. Items such as scissors, hot tongs, hot irons, chemicals and other items can be dangerous and harmful to your child(ren). Neda Hair Studio do not accept any responsibility for your child’s safety and it is up to you to keep an eye on them at all times. It will be at your cost to repair any damage to the salon or salon property caused by your child(ren).
